About the project.
Pawdo is a shared pet care coordination app that helps multi-person households keep pet routines, health records, and schedules in sync in real time. Industry research and a survey of 25 pet owners confirmed a clear gap: 100% said they'd benefit from a dedicated coordination tool, and the app has already grown a 20+ person pre-signup waitlist through organic interest alone, ahead of launch.
My role.
- •Led product design end to end, from research to UI.
- •Conducted industry and user research to validate demand before building.
- •Built the full React Native and TypeScript codebase.
- •Set up Supabase backend, auth, and data model.
Achieved.
- •Validated market need through research and a 25-person survey, with 100% of respondents confirming they'd benefit from the app.
- •Grew a 20+ person pre-signup waitlist through organic interest alone, with no paid marketing.
- •Rebuilt the app from the ground up on React Native and Supabase.
- •Designed a Today view that reduced missed routine check-ins.
- •Shipped real-time sync across household members.
- •Currently running user testing to refine the experience ahead of public release.
Impact.
Multi-pet and multi-person households are a growing segment, and existing tools weren't built for shared care. If adopted at scale, Pawdo has the potential to become the default coordination layer for households managing pet care together, turning a fragmented, error-prone process into one clear source of truth.
