About the project.
For my final project in a UX Prototypes and Wireframing course, I was challenged with creating a mobile ticketing app for three new clubs opening in Arizona. I designed core mobile app features for a three-venue events platform, focusing on usability, clarity, and end-to-end ticketing flows. For the visual direction, I intentionally designed the app in a full dark theme to reflect the mood and energy of a nightclub experience — balancing contrast carefully for accessibility while keeping the accent color bold and intentional for low-light use.
My role.
- •Led UX design end to end as the sole designer for the final project.
- •Designed an Events List with filtering and a full user account system — sign-up, account info, payments, and tickets.
- •Mapped two complete purchase pathways from event page to checkout, including error states.
- •Applied mobile-first patterns and Material UI conventions for intuitive interaction design.
- •Built the visual system in Figma with supporting assets in Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
Achieved.
- •Delivered a complete dark-theme mobile ticketing prototype for a three-venue events platform.
- •Designed filtering, account, payments, and dual checkout flows with clear hierarchy and tap targets.
- •Maintained accessibility contrast standards while preserving a bold nightclub aesthetic.
Skills in use.
